See below for further details and instructions on how to get started.

Patchs is an online consultation service that helps you communicate with your GP more quickly.
Patchs will ask a few simple questions and our staff will then respond to you by email, SMS, or via the NHS app.

For more information about how South Fulham PCN use Patchs to support patients to access their GP surgery visit our eHub Team service page.

Here is a step-by-step guide from the Patchs website:

  1. First, click on the link to Patchs on your GP practice’s website.
  2. Follow the steps to create an account. You’ll need your email address to do this, and will also need to create a password.
  3. Once you have created an account, you can access Patchs by clicking the link on your GP website, by opening Patchs directly, or by the NHS app on your smartphone. Login by entering your email address & password.
  4. You will see a few options. Choose whether you are seeking help for a new health problem or an ongoing health problem.
  5. Choose the appropriate option. Then, answer a few simple questions to help your GP understand your problem.
  6. Your answers will be sent to your GP, who will respond as quickly as possible. They may reach out via email, SMS, or phone call. They will schedule a video or face-to-face consultation with you if necessary.
  7. If you are having difficulties with any of the above, please take a look at our Help Pages or reach out to your GP practice for support.

The following video from Patchs explains how it works:

The NHS App is a new way for patients to connect to the surgery and other NHS services. For example, you can:

  • Get advice about coronavirus
  • Order repeat prescriptions
  • Get health advice
  • Securely view your GP health record
  • Review and register your organ donation decision
  • Choose how the NHS uses your data

Download it FREE from the Apple Store (Apple device) or the Google Play Store (Android device)

The process to set up your NHS login is explained in the following video:

You can read more and access the NHS login help centre at NHS login.

You can choose to log in using fingerprint recognition, facial recognition or username and password of your choice.
